The official nude beach is located at Vålön island in the lake Vänern, about 7 km south of Kristinehamn and 4 km from the nearest camping (textile).
There is a small ferry operating during summer from the restaurant, Söjungfrun, not far from the Picasso sculpture. Park close to the sculpture.

About 1 km to walk on the island from the ferry southwards.
The beach is a mix between sand and rock. It is not very well suited for small children. There is fresh drinking water, tables with fixed benches and dustbins. There are toilets at the pier.
